Bhubaneswar: Commissionerate Police on Saturday evening declared the Burn Ward of AIIMS hospital in Bhubaneswar as a restricted area under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Samhita (BNS). This has been done keeping in view safety of the patients.
As per reports, tension prevailed at the premises of AIIMS hospital in Bhubaneswar today evening. Accordingly, Commissionerate Police declared the Burn ward of the hospital as a restricted area under section 163 of BNS.
It is to be noted that the minor girl from Puri district, who had fallen victim to a lethal attack by miscreants by attempting to set her on fire, has been admitted to the Burn Ward of the hospital. Accordingly, a number of political people are visiting the hospital. And due to some reason tension has gripped now the hospital premises. Accordingly, police personnel have been deployed at the spot to avoid any untoward situation.
