Pipili: Even after a day of the Balanga incident where a 15-year-old girl was set ablaze no one has been arrested. The police is strictly investigating the matter.BAccording to information, to nab the accused, raids are being conducted at several places. The Director General of Police YB Khurania said, “The assailants will be arrested very soon. We have roped in a dog squad and scientific team for the investigation.” On Saturday, a minor girl studying in Plus 2 was set ablaze by unknown miscreants in Balanga of Puri district.
When the girl was going to her friend’s house, the miscreants finding an isolated spot poured petrol on her and tried to kill her. The girl was taken to the nearby medical and then shifted to AIIMS Bhubaneswar. Reportedly, 70% of her body is burnt. Doctors said that the next 48 hours are critical.
