Bhubaneswar: Anu Garg appointed as Chief Secretary, Odisha. The General Administration and Public Grievance Department of the Government of Odisha issued a notification today in this regard.
Smt. Anu Garg, IAS (RR-1991), DC-cum-ACS and Secretary to Government, Planning and Convergence Department with additional charge of Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Water Resources Department was appointed as Chief Secretary, Odisha — read the notification issued today by Odisha Government confirming appointment of Garg as the CS.
Secretary to Government, General Administration and Public Grievance Department vice Shri Manoj Ahuja, IAS is retiring on 31.12.2025 (AN), the said notification also said.
It is to be noted that Anu Garg became the first woman Chief Secretary of Odisha.
