Rourkela: A female college student tried to self immolate in Lanchibarna area of Rourkela of Sundergarh district on Saturday. The girl has been admitted in the critical condition in the burn ward of Ispat General Hospital (IGH) hpsital as she has sustained severe burn injuries.
According to sources, the girl poured kerosene on herself and set fire on self. She is in critical condition as 90% of her body has burned in the fire.
The reason behind the self immolation is not known yet, said Sundergarh SP.
