Bhubaneswar: The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecasted that the night temperatures in Odisha will rise by 2-4°C over the next two days due to a Western Disturbance.
On the 19th, western storm will become active again. As a result, the temperature will increase further.
The western disturbance is currently sweeping across the state bringing much needed relief from a recent cold wave that has brought temperature in some areas to sub zero degrees.
Though this will reduce the impact of the cold wave, some areas in the north coastal areas of the state might still see light to moderate fog.
The western disturbance is expected to intensify its grip on Odisha, bringing relief from the cold wave. As the disturbance gathers strength, temperatures are likely to rise, especially during the nighttime, making the nights relatively warmer.
