New Delhi: In recognition of his dedicated service in the field of social work spanning over 16 long years, noted social activist from Kandhamal district, Radhamohan Mahapatra, has been conferred with a prestigious national-level award.
At a special ceremony organised today by Trend & Media Group and Insights Media New Delhi in a five-star hotel here, he was honoured with the 'Pride Bharat Award' as the 'Best Social Worker of 2026'.
The award was presented by renowned Bollywood actress and model Ishita Dutt.
Speaking on the occasion, Radhamohan Mahapatra said, “This success is not mine alone. It is the result of the love, blessings and support of the people of my beloved Kandhamal district. I dedicate this award to all the residents of Kandhamal.”
He further added that he has already received two more honours this year — one at the state level and another at the national level. Expressing gratitude for this third prestigious national award, he offered thanks at the feet of Lord Shri Jagannath.
“I have been working for the people of Kandhamal and will continue to do so in the future as well. It is your love and blessings that have brought me to this milestone. Please continue to shower me with the same affection and support,” Mahapatra said.
His achievement has become a matter of pride not only for Kandhamal district but for the entire state of Odisha. Local people have extended warm congratulations to him and expressed best wishes for his future social service initiatives.
