Bhubaneswar: In view of the forecast of heavy rainfall under the influence of deep depression, the Collector of Subarnapur district has declared a holiday today for all schools and Anganwadi centres across the district.
The decision was taken as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students and children. The holiday applies to all government, private schools, and Anganwadi centres in the entire district.
District officials have urged parents and guardians to keep children at home and avoid unnecessary travel in view of the expected heavy rains.
