Bhubaneswar: A Plus-III commerce student from a private college in Nayagada was rescued on Sunday after he became stranded on Rukhi Hill while trying to return from a visit.
According to reports, the student, identified as Aditya Dora, contacted his elder brother by phone when he found himself unable to make his way back. His family then alerted the local police station, prompting a coordinated response.
Upon being informed, teams from the police, fire services and Forest Department quickly reached the hill and launched a search operation. After nearly two hours of efforts, they located Aditya and brought him down safely.
