Keonjhar: Odisha Vigilance today launched simultaneous raids at seven locations linked to Nityananda Nayak, OFS-I, Divisional Forest Officer (DFO) of the Kendu Leaf Division, Keonjhar, over allegations of possession of disproportionate assets (DA).
Acting on warrants issued by the Special Judge, Vigilance, Keonjhar, the operation is being carried out by a Vigilance team comprising 3 DSsP, 10 Inspectors, and supporting staff. The searches are underway at the following locations across Angul, Keonjhar, and Nayagarh districts:
- A four-storey building at Angul
- His paternal house at Madanmohan Patna, PS-Bantala, Angul
- House of his in-laws at Jagannathpur, Angul
- Office of the DFO, Kendu Leaf Division, Keonjhar
- Government residential quarter at Keonjhar
- Residential house of his son at Komanda, Nayagarh
- Office chamber of his son at PHC, New-Komanda, Nayagarh
