Jajpur: As many as 23 Odias have returned to Jajpur from Nepal. They are members of 10 families who had gone to Nepal for Pashupatinath darshan and stranded due to Gen G violent protest.
As per reports, they came in the Howrah-Bhubaneswar Janshatabdi Express and got down at Jajpur Road Station yesterday night. Later, with the help of the travel agency that took them to the tour, everyone was safely brought to Odisha.
Within 5 hours of the incident coming to light, with the cooperation of the Odisha Family Directorate, Odisha Government, the Office of the Chief Resident Magistrate in New Delhi, the Ministry of External Affairs, the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, Nepal, and the Indian Ambassador to Romania, Dr. Manoj Kumar Mahapatra, the 23 Odias, who had been stranded in Nepal were brought back to India from Nepal.
