Bhubaneswar: Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today laid foundation stones for as many as 27 Industrial projects worth Rs 25,000 crore that is expected to generate employment opportunity for 52,000 youths.

oundation of the 27 industrial units virtually across 12 districts including Ganjam, Khordha, Jharsuguda, Koraput, and Angul. The foundation-laying ceremony was held at the Convention Centre, OUAT, Bhubaneswar.
The foundation-laying ceremony has marked a new milestone in Odisha’s industrial expansion. These projects are expected to bring over Rs 25,000 crore in fresh investment, strengthening Odisha’s manufacturing ecosystem.
Since taking office, the government has approved 260 industrial projects, attracting Rs 5.6 lakh crore investment and creating potential for 3.6 lakh jobs, said the Chief Minister on this occasion.
The CM assured that “We are always available to extend support to industrialists,” citing removal of bureaucratic hurdles and sector-specific incentives.
Focus on advanced, globally competitive products to position Odisha as the manufacturing hub of Eastern India.
He also urged the industries to join the ‘Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam 2.0’ campaign, aiming to plant 75 lakh trees on September 17 in honor of the Prime Minister’s 75th birthday.
