Puri: Here is an important update for devotees planning to visit the world famous Puri Jagannath temple, the darshan of Lord Jagannath and his siblings shall remain suspended from 1o am onwards.
According to reports, the darshan of the Holy trinity shall remain suspended from 10 am onwards as the valuable items of the Ratna Bhandar shall be shifted. Due to this process the darshan of general public will be suspended.
It is however worth mentioning here that the devotees will be able to buy Mahaprasad from Ananda Bazar. The temple administration has urged the devotees to cooperate till the completion of the entire process.
According to information, the Natamandap and Jagamohan will be cleansed before the inventory shifting of Ratna Bhandar of Srimandir. This process will begin from 10.00 am in the morning tomorrow. Thus the darshan of devotees have been suspended.
The entry to the Jagannath temple and the Jhulana Mandap premises will be banned. The restrictions will remain in force till the Ratna Bhandar shifting is completed. The inventory of the inner treasures will be matched with the inventory list of 1978.
Puri Jagannath temple (Srimandir) darshan will be resumed after the inventory shifting is completed.
According to information, the repair and restoration work of both the inner and outer chamber of the Ratna Bhandar had been completed before Niladri Bije.
“This was possible due to the grace of Mahaprabhu”, said the Chief Administrator of the temple, Arabinda Kumar Padhee.
