Phulbani, November 29: In a significant recognition of dedication and efficiency, Superintending Engineer (SE) of Phulbani Minor Irrigation Division, Surya Narayan Panigrahi, has been promoted to the post of Additional Chief Engineer of Phulbani MI (Minor Irrigation) Circle by the Department of Water Resources, Government of Odisha.
The promotion order (Letter No. 33431 dated 29.11.2025) was issued by the department on Saturday. As per the order, Er. Panigrahi will take charge of his new responsibility as Additional Chief Engineer while continuing to discharge his existing duties as Superintending Engineer in additional capacity.
Sources in the department said the promotion has been granted in appreciation of Er. Panigrahi’s unwavering commitment, integrity, and outstanding performance in executing irrigation projects.
Following the announcement, engineers, staff members, and contractors of the Phulbani Minor Irrigation Division warmly felicitated Er. Surya Narayan Panigrahi at the divisional office. He was garlanded and greeted with applause as colleagues extended their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for his continued success in the higher role.
