Cuttack: A youth was killed and another sustained critical injuries when a sand-laden Hyva truck hit the motorcycle they were riding near Kujanga Bazar in Cuttack-Paradip road.
The deceased has been identified as Sangram Swain of Bagaoi village, while injured Manas Pradhan is undergoing treatment in the hospital.

As per sources, the duo were returning back home, when the speeding Hyva hit their bike near Kujanga Bazar, following which, Sangram died on the spot, while Manas was critically injured.
The locals immediately rushed injured Manas to Kujanga Community Health Centre (CHC) for medical aid. After his health condition deteriorated, he was shifted to SCB Medical and Hospital for further treatment.
On being informed about the mishap, the local police reached the spot and sent the body for post-mortem.
