4 rooms of a house gutted in Odisha’s Bhadrak dist

 Bhadrak: At least four rooms of a house gutted in Bhadrak district of Odisha on Wednesday. The fire mishap took place in the Narsinghpur village under Dhusuri Panchayat in the district following a suspected short circuit.

According to the reports, the fire broke out at the house of Manas Patra, reducing his four-room house to ashes. All household belongings, including furniture, clothes and other valuables, were turned to ashes in the blaze.


As the locals saw the fire they called the fire services personnel. After receiving the call, the fire services personnel rushed to the spot and managed to douse the flames after a tough effort.
Police also reached the spot and conducted a preliminary investigation. The family members escaped safely, and no casualties were reported.

Preliminary investigation suggests that the fire was caused due to a short circuit. However, the exact cause will be confirmed after a detailed inquiry.
