Cold wave to intensify in Odisha; Temperature to drop 2-3°C in next 3 days

 Bhubaneswar: Odisha is shivering in cold. It will be even colder. Today, the temperature was slightly above normal. However, the cold wave will increase again from tomorrow. After the clouds clear from the sky, the cold spell will increase again in various places.

Temperature to drop by 2 to 3 degrees Celsius in the next 3 days. Along with cold wave some places in the state have also witnessed snowfall.


Snowfall has occurred in various parts of Banspal block of Keonjhar district. Similarly, snowfall has been seen in Kanjipani Ghati area, some parts of Patna block. Along with the bone-chilling cold, cold winds are also blowing during the day. The cold spell is especially severe at night.

This time, the cold has broken all records. The temperature is decreasing due to clear skies, icy winds coming from the Himalayas, dense fog and reduced water vapour coming from the sea.
