Puri: The Shree Jagannath Temple Administration (SJTA) has hiked parking fee at all Bhakta Nivas, increasing the fee for four-wheelers to Rs 500 for 24 hours, inclusive of 18 per cent GST.
The fee is applicable for parking a vehicle for up to 24 hours.
The parking charge will be collected at four Bhakta Nivas that is Gundicha Bhakta Nivas, Niladri Bhakta Nivas, Purushottam Bhakta Nivas and Nilachal Bhakta Nivas, that function under the control of the temple administration in Puri.
“It has been decided that, Parking Fees of Rs.500/- (including GST 18%) per vehicle (four wheeler) for 24 hours shall hr collected from guests who park their four wheeler in the Dhakta Niwas. The Asst. Managers in-charge of Bhakta Niwas will ensure collection of the Parking Fees w.e.f.07.01.2026 until further orders,” a notification issued by the temple administration read.
The directive has been issued by the Chief Administrator of the Shree Jagannath Temple Administration, Arabinda Padhee.
