Bhubaneswar: One crore women will receive the fourth installment of Subhadra Yojana money on March 8, Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida announced on Tuesday.
Over one crore women in Odisha will get the fourth installment of Subhadra on March 8, coinciding with International Women’s Day. The state government will transfer Rs 5,000 crore to the bank accounts of each of these women.
The Subhadra Yojana is a flagship scheme launched by the Odisha government aimed at empowering women by providing them financial assistance. Under this scheme, eligible women beneficiaries receive financial support to enhance their livelihood and promote economic independence.
Deputy Chief Minister Parida made the announcement at a government program in Kakatpur, highlighting that this move will boost the rural economy and promote women’s financial independence.
In the previous installments, millions of women beneficiaries have already received benefits under the scheme, contributing to their economic empowerment. The exact numbers are:
– First installment: Over 90 lakh women benefited
– Second installment: Around 95 lakh women received benefits
– Third installment: More than 1 crore women got the benefit
