Odisha Revises Eid-ul-Zuha Holiday, Govt Offices To Remain Closed On May 28

 Bhubaneswar: The Odisha government on Monday announced a change in the holiday schedule for Eid-ul-Zuha, revising the earlier notification issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department.


According to an official notification issued by the department, the Eid-ul-Zuha holiday will now be observed on May 28 instead of May 27, partially amending the earlier notifications dated November 11, 2025.

The notification stated that all government offices and Executive Magistrate courts across the state will remain closed on May 28 on account of the festival.

It further clarified that all Executive Magistrate courts in Odisha will remain open on May 27.

The notification was issued by the Revenue and Disaster Management Department under the orders of the Governor.
