Bolagad: A special grievance redressal camp was organised on Tuesday afternoon at the Bolagad Block Education Office for serving and retired teachers working under the block.
As many as 38 teachers attended the camp and submitted complaint letters to Block Education Officer Promod Kumar Swain. In total, 96 grievances were registered concerning various service-related issues, including:
- Correction and updation in service books
- Eligibility and promotion matters
- Transfer issues
- GIS, increment, arrears
- GPF-related problems
- Leave sanction
- Step-up benefits
The camp saw active participation and support from several dignitaries and teacher representatives, including Bolagad Mandal Resource Centre Coordinator Kailash Nath Swain, Senior Clerk Sheikh Munir, Advisory members of Bolagad Mandal Teachers’ Association Padma Charan Behera, Rabindra Kumar Behera, Promod Kumar Hotta, Ashok Kumar Sahu, teacher leaders Durgaprasad Subudhi, Bijay Kumar Sahu, Shailen Pattnaik, Prafulla Singh, Pichukuli Resource Centre Coordinator Lokanath Sahu, and office staff Benudhar Parida.
Block Education Officer Promod Kumar Swain assured the teachers that necessary steps would be taken to resolve all the complaints at the earliest.
