Bhubaneswar: The upper air cyclonic circulation over north Bay of Bengal adjoining south Bangladesh between 1.5 & 5.8 km above mean sea level titling southwestwards with height persists. Under its influence, a LowPressure Area is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood around Jul 3, predicted the India Meteorological Department (IMD).
The weather department further said that the upper air cyclonic circulation over north Odisha and neighbourhood at 5.8 km above mean sea level has merged with cyclonic circulation over north Bay of Bengal adjoining south Bangladesh between 1.5 & 5.8 km above mean sea level.
The low pressure is expected to trigger heavy to very heavy rainfall in Odisha, forecasted IMD while issuing yellow warning for the next seven days.

- YELLOW WARNING: Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Keonjhar, and Mayurbhanj.
- Heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Jagatsinghapur, Cuttack, Angul, Dhenkanal, Rayagada, and Koraput.
Day 2 (Valid from 8.30 AM of June 30 to 8.30 AM of July 1):
- ORANGE WARNING: Heavy to Very Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Jharsuguda, and Sambalpur.
- YELLOW WARNING: Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri and Gajapati.
Day 3 (Valid from 8.30 AM of July 1 to 8.30 AM of July 2):
- Heavy to very heavy rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the district of Keonjhar. Heavy Rainfall very likely to occur at one or two places over the districts of Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Mayurbhanj.
