Angul: A passenger bus reportedly turned into ashes following a major fire mishap near Barakotia in Pallahara Tehsil of Odisha’s Angul district last night.
As per reports, the passenger bus named Shri Maa was on its way to Paradeep from Rourkela when it caught fire.
It is reported that the fire first broke out in the AC unit of the bus and engulfed the entire bus.
Fortunately, the alert driver immediately stopped the bus and warned the passengers.
As a result, all the passengers got out of the bus safely and escaped a major incident.
Though each passengers along with the staff fortunately were safe, all their luggages were destroyed in the fire.
On receiving the news, the Pallahara fire brigade reached the spot and doused the fire.
Besides, arrangements were also made for the passengers to reach their destinations.
