Bhubaneswar: The Crime Branch will be going in for a big leap in its investigation into the Soumya murder case and is likely to take three accused on remand in connection with the case.
It is believed that this will help the investigating team to ascertain the alleged murder connection of the case.
The Crime Branch has already obtained orders from the court to take three accused on a two days remand.
The three accused persons – Sky Lab Pati, Bismaya Mohanty and Panchanan Badjena were earlier arrested by Balianta Police.
It is understood that once the Crime Branch gets the custody of these three accused from the Balianta Police, it will grill them thoroughly and try to extract more evidence in Soumya’s murder and strengthen its claims.
As per the court orders, the three accused will be brought from Jharpada jail.
