Bhubaneswar: The Meteorological Centre, Bhubaneswar has forecast light to moderate rain accompanied by thunderstorm and lightning over several parts of Odisha in the next 3 hours.
According to the weather bulletin issued by the Duty Office, the districts likely to be affected are: Jajpur, Jagatsinghpur, Rayagada, Jharsuguda, Cuttack including Cuttack city, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Kendujhar, Sambalpur and Kalahandi.

The MeT department has advised people in these districts to stay alert and keep a watch on changing weather conditions. “People are advised to plan accordingly for their safety and avoid open areas during thunderstorm and lightning,” the bulletin said
