Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Joint Entrance Examination (OJEE) authorities have extended the deadline for institution- and college-level admissions under OJEE-2026 to September 14.
According to a notice issued by the OJEE authorities on August 22, the extended deadline applies to admissions to first-year courses as well as lateral-entry programmes.
The decision was taken following a notification issued by the Skill Development and Technical Education (SDTE) Department of the Odisha government on August 21. The extension is also in accordance with the academic calendar of the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
The OJEE authorities said the counselling portals for students and participating institutions have been activated. Colleges and institutions have been directed to complete all admission-related formalities well before the revised deadline.
The authorities have also clarified that no further extension will be granted beyond September 14, 2026.
