Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi ordered a probe to investigate the incident and identify those responsible for bomb threats received at several courts in Sambalpur, Cuttack, and Deogarh districts.
As per reports, bomb threats were received at district courts in Sambalpur, Cuttack, and Deogarh on Thursday.
Upon receiving the news, CM has held discussions with the Chief Secretary Anu Garg, Additional Chief Secretary (Home Department) Hemant Sharma, and Director General of Police Yogesh Bahadur Khurania, instructing them to keep a close watch on the situation. He has asked them to investigate the incident.
The Chief Minister stressed that there can be no compromise on the safety and security of citizens’ lives and property, directing authorities to treat the incident with the utmost seriousness. Senior officials have been deployed to monitor the situation closely.
Besides, another high-level meeting is scheduled for this evening, where the CM will conduct a thorough review of the situation.
