Elderly man’s body found floating in pond in Ganjam’s Bhanjanagar

 Bhanjanagar: An elderly man’s body was found floating in a pond near the MuduliPalli village under the Bhanjanagar police limits of Ganjam.

Sources revealed that the deceased is Ranjan Patra. The reason behind his death is yet to be ascertained.

The villagers spotted Ranjan’s body floating in the pond and informed the police about the incident. On receiving information about the incident, the polcie along with the Fire Service Department reached the spot and recovered the body from the pond.

However, the exact reason behind his death is yet to be known. The Bhanjanagar police has registered an unnatural case and is investigating the incident.
