Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi today attended the 11th Governing Council Meeting of NITI Aayog in New Delhi.The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and themed ‘Viksit Bharat @ 2047 through Inclusive Human Development’.
In a post on X, the Chief Minister said the meeting brought together Chief Ministers and leadership from across the country for deliberations on human development, good governance, and people’s participation as foundational pillars of national progress.“Discussions reaffirmed that an inclusive, citizen-centric approach is central to India’s development journey,” CM Majhi stated.
He added that Odisha remains firmly aligned with the Prime Minister’s vision of empowering every citizen, strengthening grassroots institutions, and deepening inclusive growth.“Odisha is contributing actively to India’s collective march towards a Viksit Bharat and a Samruddha Odisha,” the Chief Minister said.
The Governing Council is NITI Aayog’s apex body and includes Chief Ministers of all states, Lieutenant Governors of UTs, and Union Ministers.
