Bhubaneswar: The Odisha Cabinet on Friday approved eight proposals from six departments at its 42nd meeting, held under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi at the Conference Hall of Lok Seva Bhawan here.
Briefing mediapersons after the meeting, Chief Secretary Anu Garg said the decisions were taken on proposals placed before the Cabinet by different departments. Additional Chief Secretary of the Revenue and Disaster Management Department, Dr. Arabinda Kumar Padhee, was also present during the briefing.
The Cabinet cleared two proposals from the Handlooms, Textiles and Handicrafts Department. One proposal each was approved from the Housing and Urban Development Department, Panchayats and Drinking Water Department, Public Administration and Public Grievances Department, and the Law Department. The Revenue and Disaster Management Department also had two proposals cleared by the Cabinet.
All eight proposals were discussed in the meeting and approved as part of the state government’s ongoing administrative and developmental agenda.
