Bhubaneswar: The Kandhamal district Collector has officially ordered the suspension of all classes for students up to class 12 in all schools across the district on July 3. This decision comes in response to persistent rainy weather affecting the region.
According to the order issued under Section 30(2)(v) of the Disaster Management Act, 2005, the suspension applies to all schools and is effective for the entire day on July 2 and July 3. The Collector emphasized that while regular classes are suspended, examinations and other scheduled activities will proceed as planned and will not be altered due to the weather conditions.
The District Education Officer has been notified to ensure the order is implemented meticulously. Parents and students are advised to stay updated with further announcements from school authorities.
This precautionary measure aims to ensure the safety and well-being of students amid adverse weather conditions in Kandhamal.
