Jhansi: In a shocking case, a 35-year-old live in-partner was murdered by retired railway employee in Jhansi of Uttar Pradesh. Her body was found stuffed inside a meral trunk and later was burned down, her ashes were then transferred in a sack and washed away in the river.
The deceased has been identified as Preeti, live in partner of the accused Ram. She was killed as she was demanding money from him in huge amount even after taking money earlier.

As per reports, the accused of this brutal murder Ram Singh Parihar has two wives living in the same city. One in the Sipri Bazaar area while the other in Kotwali area in the same city.
This incident took place earlier this month and came to light when the truck loader driver who was hired by Ram and his son noticed suspicious behaviour of Ram while loading the metal trunk from his second wife, Geeta’s house,. Ram’s son from his second wife Nitin along with his friends accompanied him to load the blue metal trunk in the truck.
After noticing the suspicious behaviour, the loader immediately informed the police, police on arrival forcefully opened the metal box, in the box they found charred human remains, bone fragments, and coal-like substances.
A case has been registered on Ram Singh Parihar’s name by the victim’s former husband and further investigation is underway.
