CM Majhi Unveils Schedule Of 3rd Bhubaneswar Film Festival-2026

 Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on Friday unveiled the official schedule of the Third Bhubaneswar Film Festival-2026, which will be held from June 25 to June 28 at Lok Seva Bhawan here.

On the occasion, the Chief Minister interacted with Festival Director Sanjoy Patnaik, Co-Director Sukant Rath, and Ashok Palit, and lauded the initiative. He said that from 2027 onwards, the Bhubaneswar Film Festival would be expanded further to project Odisha’s art, history, and cinema on a global platform.

The Chief Minister emphasised that the festival has the potential to grow into a major cultural event representing the state at the international level.

Festival Director Sanjoy Patnaik thanked the Chief Minister for the continued support extended by the Odia Language, Literature and Culture Department of the Government of Odisha. He described the initiative as a milestone in the growth of cinema and cultural promotion in the state.

The festival will be held at Jayadev Bhawan in Bhubaneswar from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Along with Odia films, award-winning national and international films in Kannada, Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Gujarati, Assamese, Malayalam, and Dimasa languages will be screened during the four-day event.
